My name is
Dave Bernstein (my friends
call me "DJ Dave"), and I have
had a microphone in front of my face practically every day,
going back to my first experiment in radio production at age 12. OK,
it was just me, a tape recorder, and a dream to be the next
Casey Kasem, but it was a start! Hear the raw beginnings of
a wannabe DJ for yourself... (circa 1978)
Boy, awful
stuff, huh? :-) Well, the reason I wanted you to hear my
prepubescent voice is because that innocence was the beginning
of the lifelong obsession for me that is hi-fi recording.
With just the click of a button on my Radio Shack cassette
recorder, I was transformed into "DJ Dave", and there was no
turning back.
Since then, I have

And I have
performed live at over 2000 wedding receptions...(see
