2002 - Tucson
A+ Green Mountain/Milagrosa. Lots of miles with some crazy technical riding up and down the Santa Catalinas outside Tucson. There is a limit of 15 riders due to the constraints of shuttling and traffic problems on Mt. Lemmon. Contact Andy F. to get on the list ASAP. This is a very difficult ride. Leaders: Jeff (Mtberzrkr) and Andy F. B & C - Starr Pass. Classic Tucson desert ride. Lots of loops, steep climbs, fun descents and curvy singletrack. Ride leader - PirateGirl, SDMB locals..

Rides are divided into the following
categories:
A - Advanced. This means the ride will be fast and technical. If you can handle lung busting climbing combined with up and down multiple 1-2 foot high ledges for miles on end - this is for you. B - Intermediate. 10-25 miles, solid climbs and some technical. Sometimes even on the same trail as "A" groups, but not nearly as fast. C - Novice. Shorter distances and little or no technical. Great social rides and lighthearted pace with time for playing. |
| Friday, March 22, 2002 - South Mountain
A+ National (Up) to Telegraph Pass to Desert Classic. Long hard ride. Riding up National is like going up a loose rocky staircase for a couple miles. Leaders: Bugaroo B - Mormon/National Loop. Another hard ride, but it will give you a real taste of the desert riding. There will be bailouts for those not wanting to ride all the way down National. Leaders: Alan S. and SilverSurfer C - Desert Classic. Classic Phoenix singletrack. Fun and fast.
