Doc's CARS

Car #80

  1967 Chevrolet 4 door Sedan

(no photos shown because I just bought this old car for the motor,

it had a great 327 V-8 in it and I just couldn't resist it)

Car #81

1975 Pontiac Trans Am

This was another car I just couldn't resist.

I found it on a used car lot and bought it cheap

because all the paint was falling off it. I had it

completely stripped and repainted and a new

"Eagle" decal put on the hood and it ended up

a really fun car to drive. Lots of power!

Car #82

1968 Mustang- "California Special"

I had to look hard to find this one. A California Special

but it was worth the hunt. A fine little car that I really

didn't have to do much to it.

Car #83

1966 Ford 1/2 ton Pickup

(not shown. Nothing exciting about it, just a pickup)

Car #84

1966 Chevy Malibu Coupe

The time was 1990 and my oldest daughter Janelle was just about to turn

16. I had always promised her I would get her a car when she was old enough

to drive. So I found car # 83, a really straight 1966 Chevy Malibu and proceeded

to turn it into a more modern day street rod. I stripped it completely, inside and out.

I was going to paint it with some cool graphics and make it a real street cruiser

for Janelle. Unfortunately Janelle came to see me for a visit and saw the car before

it was done and got turned off. She flat didn't like the car at all, so I finished it as

it appears in the photo above and sold it.

As a replacement I later found her this really cute VW Bug

Car #85

1974 VW Super Beetle

Actually the VW in the foreground is one I bought for me

to drive, while I was working on the one for Janelle. Her 74

was a really clean bug and I painted some special strips down

the side and even painted her name on it for her. Installed a nice

stereo with big speakers and gave it to her as a High School

graduation gift.

Car #86

(above)

1967 VW

The VW in the foreground was an all original 1967 VW, which

was supposed to be the BEST VW ever made. I had to agree it

was a fine little car and ran like a Singer sewing machine. I can

see why they sold so many after having one.

Car #87

1978 Chevy Pickup

(no photos, just another plain pickup as a driver)
