Doc's CARS

Car #67

1946 Chevy Coupe

This was a car that was just hard to resist, it was so

clean and original and ran so good. Unfortunately, I

just never did anything with it, except to start it once

in-a-while. Eventually it went down the road with

some other car nut like me.

1957 Chevy 210 Hardtop

I really wish I had photos of this car when I first found it. It had been abandon for years

and used as a home for stray cats. LOTS of cat do-do all inside it. It took months

and lots of work just to get the smell out of it. I had to completely GUT this car and

start all over-from scratch. But having paid only $50 for it, I could afford to do it.

It had sat so long in once place all the brake drums had rusted onto the wheel

bearing spindles and the rear axles wouldn't even turn. It took some work

but eventually turned into a fine car. Of course it required a complete repaint,

(which I did myself)

inside, underside and everywhere. And all new upholstery as well. I even had to

replace the actual seats to get rid of the odors.

I ended up buying another complete car ( a 1958 station wagon) to use the engine,

trany and rear end out of it, for this 57 Chevy.

Then I traded it for this next car!

Car #69

1934 Ford Coupe (drag car)

I didn't build this one. I traded it straight across for the 57 Chevy

shown above.

It was a blast! I ran it for a season and then sold it too.

Car #70

1969 Chevy 2 door Impala

(not too exciting so not shown here)

Car #71

1976 Chevy Caprice

(not too exciting so not shown here)

Car #72

1974 Chevy Monte Carlo

(I took this one in trade on one of my cars,

but it too wasn't very exciting so it is not shown here as well)

Car #73

1975 Mercedes Benz 450 SL Sport Roadster

This was my LAST Mercedes. It was an incredible car on the open highway

but the biggest pain in the ass car I ever owned. Maintenance was a nightmare.

It was IN the shop as much as it was out. I kept it for awhile but ended up

getting rid of it due to the problems it constantly had. But I must admit it was

a beautiful car.

Car #74

1973 Lincoln Mark IV

This was my daily driver work car for awhile. A nice

car. Road and handled great but had some electrical

problems for awhile that really frustrated me. Eventually

I got them worked out and it proved to be one of my

favorites until it got broke into and the interior destroyed

by vandals. I sold it shortly after that.
