Doc's CARS

Car #55

1965 Mercury Mirader

(a family car due to my young daughter-not very exciting-no photos)

Car #56

1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

(another family and work car)

Car #57

1972 Pontiac Grand Prix

(took this in trade on a car I had-wasn't a cool car either)

Car #58

1957 Chevy Convertible (#2)

This was a really nice 57 but not as nice or as fast as my

first 57. I had recently moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico and was getting

re-established. The timing for having this car wasn't the best and

I didn't end up keeping it very long, unfortunately!

Today a car like this brings about $50K! I paid $3,500 for it

in 1978 and sold it for $4,000 a year later.

Car #59

1964 Falcon Sprint

Not the best of colors I must admit but it was a ball

to drive. Just a fun little kick around in car.

I did a "little drag racing with it too"!

Car #60

(another project)

1940 Ford Pickup

(click for enlargements)

Sometimes it just takes a "little imagination"!

Car #61

1949 Chevy Pickup

Here's another one I did get finished. It turned out really nice and

was a dream to drive except in really cold weather. I drove this from

Las Cruces, New Mexico to Amarillo, Texas one time during a snow and ice

storm and it wasn't the best time I ever had. But I made it just fine!
