Spring General Conference Reunion 2000

Well…the reunion was held in the home of the former Elder Daniel Ewing in Springville, Utah. In attendance were Elders:

Ewing 97-99, Rix 96-98, Christensen 97-99, Cox 96-98, Richardson 97-99,

Tillman 97-99, Brusik 97-99, Aitken 97-99, Tirado 98-00, Garcia 97-99 (nefita),

Reinman 97-99, Stuver 97-99, Baldwin 97-99, Cotrell 97-99, Gifford 97-99,

Jensen 97-99, Call 97-99, D.J. Smith 97-99, Pearson 98-00

. I cannot recall other names, but I am sure there were a few more. The question was "How is the mission doing?" was answered by Matthew Pearson who returned home early this month:

  1. Mission is averaging 400 converts a month.
  2. The mission has about 210 missionaries and one adult couple.
  3. Mission President Torres is handling very well the mission and the great responsibility.
  4. What new areas have been opened....1.Soconusco Ver, Sayula Ver, Jaltipan Ver, Perote Ver, La Venta Tab, and a very others.
  5. A main topic was "who are you dating, where you going to school, what kind of job do you have." Note: Elder Eric Christensen has been married for the past 6 months, also Elder Richardson was engaged.

The following day a few of the return missionaries went up to Salt Lake for the General Conference.

I don't send pictures because I don't have a scanner, I will go to a friend's house to try and send some.
