She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church in Mt. Sherm an and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Thompson; a daughte r, Lavella Jean Thompson; a son, Jimmie Thompson; her parents, Lewis and L ula Skaggs Sprowles; three sisters, Alva Perkins, Oma Elsie Loyall and Dor othy Loyall; and two brothers, Ernest Sprowles and W.C. “Bill” Sprowles.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruby L. (Jerome) Bronger of Louisville a nd Ann T. (Charles) Durham of Magnolia; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Thomps on Sinclair of Summersville; three sisters, Bessie Catherine Underwood, La verne Abell and Alene Thompson, all of Hodgenville; eight grandchildren, B renda Smith, Pat Durham, Mike Bronger, Pam Miller, Jamie Thompson, Susan W est, Amy Thompson Wells and Andrea Corbin; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at Dixon-Rogers Funeral H ome in Magnolia with the Revs. Gerald Gardner and Brandon Goodin officiati ng. Burial will follow in DeSpain Cemetery in Mt. Sherman.
Visitation will begin Nov. 24, after 5 p.m. and Nov. 25, after 8:30 a. m. at the funeral home.

Nicholas Warren, heir to his father, was aged 14 years and upwards, by the
inquisition 16th of Richard II, and being under age, Sir John Schardelo w, of
whom his manor of Skegton was held, entered on the same and granted to Sir
John White, who in 13th of Richard II conveyed the same to John Mainwaring
and his wife Margaret, late widow of Sir John Warren. Nicholas died 1413,
leaving a widow Agnes, daughter of Sir Richard Winnington, Knt. Laurence d e
Warren, his son and heir; and one daughter, Emma, wife of Hugh Venables,

Sir John Warburton administered to the effects of father Feb.
14, 1495, but in 1487 Piers Warburton, his father, had contracted for his
marriage with Johanna (called Joan and Jane. In the 32nd year of
Elizabeth, 1590, the Court of the King's Bench were agreed that these
names were all one name). Johanna Stanley was the daughter of Sir
William Stanley, of Holt, and he was the son of Thomas Stanley and
Joanna Goushill, descended from de Bohuns and Edward I. References:
