Rosemary Warren Hoover
1917-2006
Rosemary Warren Hoover, a former Willcox, Ariz., resident, died Dec. 1, 20 06, at her daughter's home in Tucson, at the age of 89. Mrs. Hoover was bo rn Oct. 18, 1917, in Ballinger, Texas, the daughter of Tom and Leslie Warr en.
She moved to Buffalo Valley with her parents in April of 1918. She attend ed school at Lake Arthur, N.M., and later moved to Artesia, N.M. She marri ed Kermit Hoover in 1939 and was a homemaker and a cook at Bob's Home Ca f? in Willcox. Rosemary was also a devoted Dallas Cowboy Football fan. S he was preceded in death by her husband, parents, an infant son and thr ee brothers. Survivors include six children, Sharon Browning and husband C ody, Johnny Hoover and wife, Lorrie, Wayne Hoover and wife, Rita, all of A rizona, and Tommy Hoover and wife Penny, Barbara Nelson and Susan Gray, a ll of Artesia, N.M. Sisters Dorothy Gleghorn and husband, Charlie, and Fra nces Green and husband, Elton, of Artesia. She is also survived by grandch ildren, Jeanette Carlisle, Kathy Hooker, Tommy J. Hoover, Billy Hoover, Sc otty Hoover, Scott Sears, Gary Nelson, Wade Nelson, Todd Hoover, Kim Youn g, Teri Beaver, Kelli Gray and Cindy Herron. Also 23 great-grandchildren a nd one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 8, at Westlawn Chape l. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Willcox C hurch of Christ. Gary Terbell will officiate at the services, with buri al at Sunset Cemetery in Willcox. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Gary Nels on, Wade Nelson, Todd Hoover, Billy Hoover, Tommy J. Hoover, Scotty Hoov er and Scott Sears. Contributions may be made to the Willcox Church of Chr ist.
