Math Package Includes: Equation Editor Commands, list and explanation of Equation Editor commands, and Calculator Commands.

If you have either DragonDictate or NaturallySpeaking Professional and either Corel WordPerfect or Microsoft Word you can create equations by voice. You can use the voice commands for the Equation Editor to write equations, copy them, and then paste them inside your favorite word processor. On my computer the Equation Editor is found in the "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Equation" folder. If you can't find it on your computer try doing a search using "Find Files or Folders" from the start menu. Look for "equation". The Equation Editor is named "Eqnedt32.exe" on my computer. This will even work with the native NaturallySpeaking window. You can use any of the commands from the list to create an equation within the Equation Editor window. Then you say, "Copy All to Clipboard" to copy the equation or "Grab Equation" to cut the equation to the Clipboard. Now you can paste it in your word processor of choice. I prefer Microsoft Word or WordPerfect because you can create tables to keep your homework pages less messy. The available symbols in the Equation Editor should be enough to get you through college calculus. If you need more than this I suggest checking out Metroplex Voice. If you need to do some calculations for homework you can use these voice commands for the calculator that comes with Microsoft Office. Soon, I hope to have voice commands available for a simple shareware graphing program called Equation Grapher. This is the graphing program I used to do my math homework.
